Phuket has a great diversity of tours available.  Some of the more popular tours are the "4 in 1" tours in which you do 4 different activities within the span of half a day.  Generally this would include elephant trekking, canoeing, a jeep safari, and a short jungle walk.  Prices of these tours vary, but expect to pay somewhere around 1200-1600 baht (30-40 U.S.) Usually lunch and some snacks are provided in the cost of the tour.

Other tours include a brief visit to Phrom Thep Cape (to catch a magnificent sunset) historic tours of the "old Phuket" and Phuket Town, as well as there even being "nightlife tour" which will take you safely from nightspot to nightspot.

For the more adventurous and athletic types, there are mountainbiking tours, whitewater rafting tours, climbing in nearby Krabi province, treks to Khao Sok National Park, speedboat tours and snorkeling to Koh Phi Phi and beyond as well as liveaboard tours which can be up to 10 days in duration.
