Phuket Thailand Golf Courses 

Phuket boasts five fine golf courses, Banyan Tree, Blue Canyon Country Club, Loch Palm, the Phuket Country Club and the newly completed Mission hills course designed by Jack Nicklaus.. Neighboring Phang-gna province also has a beautiful course (Thai Muang Beach) if you feel like driving off the island.  All of these courses have been designed to make the best use of tropical trees,  abundant water and their beautiful surroundings. 

No visit to Phuket is complete without getting a round or two in on these magnificent courses.  Standards are high( as witnessed by Phuket hosting two Johnny Walker events in 1994 and 1998 at the Canyon Course).

Depending on the course played the green fees run between 2000-4000 baht plus caddie fees and the necessary souvenir hats, balls and shirts from each course (Excluding the 19th hole). 

Early mornings or late afternoons are often the most comfortable for those unused to a tropical climate.  It would be advisable in the high season to book your tee times in advance as often there is high demand for the preferable (cooler) tee times.
