Soi Bangla

Soi Bangla is the heart and soul of Patong Beach.  Here is where you will find as much nightlife as you can handle.  From approximately 11 a.m. - 2a.m. there are plenty of watering holes to keep you occupied and refreshed.  Of course there are the beautiful Thai ladies working in the bars to keep you entertained whether it is for some enlightening conversation, or perhaps for a game of backgammon or other popular board game.

Soi Bangla Bars & Katoeys

Once the sun goes down, the action starts to get going.  Some of the better known establishments include the U2 bar, the Gonzo bar, Rock hard ago-go,  Rock country,  Alice bar,  Blue Lotus pub and the countless "happy bars" where you will undoubtedly be approached by a beautiful Thai girl and asked for a drink and some friendly conversation.

Once Simon Cabaret finishes, all of the "lady" dancers head over to soi crocodile where you will see all of the dancers (katoeys) putting on an incredible show.  These "ladies" are not shy, and if you're not careful, you'll find yourself staying on soi Crocodile much longer than you had imagined.

All in all Soi Bangla is a must see and visit for all who come to Phuket.  Besides all of the happy bars and ago-gos, there are plenty of souvenir shops to help you pick out the right gift for the loved ones and office colleagues who were left behind.
